We enjoyed fall in Utah this year - the canyons around here are absolutely gorgeous and we didn't want to miss the changing of the leaves. We were not disappointed!

I feel so blessed to enjoy visits from friends from Elko, we have had several come to stay and have loved each visit. My dear Sarah has been over to see me more than I think she visited when we lived in the same town :) I am grateful! We enjoyed Cornbelly's with our kids one fall day and it was an instant hit. They have certainly beefed it up since we went when Allie was a baby.

Next up, Halloween.  We tried something new with our kids this year and went for a Halloween river cruise on the Provo River.  There were over a hundred carved pumpkins lining the shore of the river and lights strung across the banks to see as our guide, a witty pirate (who Matthew continually called Hook), narrated a few stories for us.

As tradition would have it, we joined our ward for a night of trunk or treating, though you can only imagine how many cars were involved in this shin-dig here in Utah. We sent our candy to troops overseas we had so much!
