November

I spent November writing a daily post on Facebook of what I am grateful for. What a blessing it is to reflect on all that is good in my life, I am thankful I took the time to ponder on my blessings - I truly believe it has helped jump start this holiday season for me.

Here are a few things I was thankful for during the month of November:

We celebrated Thanksgiving up at my sister's this year with my entire family. It had been two years since we were all together for the holiday and it was an enjoyable day!

I was lucky enough to attend Time Out for Women with some of amazing gals. We laughed, we cried, we stayed up until 2 or 4 AM, I now can't even remember. I walked away completely filled and very grateful for the opportunity.

I spent the month truly thinking about my children and how blessed I am to have stewardship over these dear souls.  I am far from being the mother they deserve but I am forever thankful they allow me to try a little bit more each day. I am thankful that I can look back and see what I have learned when I get weary about how far I have to go still.

November would not be complete without a celebration of Terry's baptism three years ago. This was a truly special celebration as we were able to have dinner with one of the missionaries that taught Terry and truly inspired him. We were lucky enough to be with him and his wife again just this last Sunday for the First Presidency's Christmas Devotional. There were so many people involved in Terry's conversion, but we both hold a special place in our hearts for who we will forever call Elder England.

Of course the month just wouldn't be successful without a craft. This little guy looked so cute on our porch!
