I am so excited we are able to add a new Christmas tradition this holiday. This show was nothing short of amazing. Jane Seymour, the guest narrator, once played a character that inspired the name of our oldest daughter: Elise McKenna in the movie Somewhere in Time. If you haven't seen the film, it is worth watching. Jane Seymour is still as gorgeous today as she was in that film, and her narration of Luke 2 was absolutely beautiful.
We chose not to take Makenna this year (children must be 8 years or older to attend all MoTab concerts and Sunday morning shows as they are recorded for television, so Matthew and Allie are out for a few years) but we will definitely be taking Makenna next year. I cannot wait until we can have all our children in attendance with us to feel the wonderful spirit present at these events. The performance we were at, both President Monson and President Uchtdorf were in attendance and what a blessing to be watching such an inspirational performance with our Prophet and one of his counselors. I feel so blessed to be in the presence of these amazing leaders and such wonderfully talented musicians so frequently. We have the Choir Christmas party this evening and I will once more be surrounded by these amazing individuals. I can think of no better place to feel the spirit of Christmas!
