This is the month!

We close on our house this month. YIPPEE!! We created a paper chain for the kids to countdown when school starts, but it's serving dual purposes for us this year! The picture below is of the kitchen, viewed through the family room. They are finished with all the taping and mud work on both floors so this week we hope to see texture and paint. I can't believe how fast they move, and I am thankful for it! The second picture is the first layer of our stucco up and drying. The black around the porch (and parts of the garage) is where all the brick will go, then the triangle above the master bedroom windows will be covered in shake.
