Okay, back in April when we signed the construction deal, our top priority was to be in our house by school and we were GUARANTEED this by Richmond. Long story short, we are not getting into our house this month. The good news is Richmond is a great company that wants to ensure satisfaction, so when they called us with that final date, they assured us they would pay the fees to prolong our locked interest rate and they also asked what they could do to make it up to us. Terry told them to put in sprinklers and grass in the backyard, which they agreed to! (Afterward Terry was kicking himself for not asking for a fence, but goodness let's not get greedy right?) There are just a few minor things that need to be finished in our house like putting up shutters, painting the front door, and installing the last piece of glass in our shower. Oh, and one minor detail: INSPECTIONS! That is what we will wait on for the next two weeks before we get our keys at 5:00 PM on Sept. 7. That finished house will just tease us until then. WOW!!! It is so beautiful!!! I LOVE the kitchen and you will feel like a queen in that bathroom! And a corner lot! I am jealous that your house is done!! LOVE it!!!
Oh, and I think two weeks of waiting is worth back yard sprinklers and lawn! Nice job Terry!
